Side Effects of Ace Inhibitors [posted 8/4/98]
Question: I take diovan 80 mg per day to control hypertension. In the past, I took accupril to control hypertension. I seem to be nervous and perspire under my arms a lot. I was wondering if this could be a side effect of these types of drugs?

Answer: Not usually.

ACE Inhibitors [posted 7/17/98]
Question: Could the use of an ACE inhibitor cause the patient to feel very cold much of the time and to have difficulty in bed at night not being able to tell whether he feels too hot or too cold?

Answer: This would not be expected. If it is due to the ACE it needs to be reported to the FDA.
