DES & Tachycardia
Question: My grandmother took DES for several years. She ended up having only 1 child - my father. My father is 53 years old and has tachycardia. He has been on controlling medication for this problem for years. He has recently been told that it will be necessary to undergo (another) cardiac cath - a stress test revealed possible blockage. Any connections between the drug his mother took and male heart problems?

Answer: Not that I'm aware of. If he was to have a problem as a teen possibly, I doubt if there is any relationship.
