Ischemia
Question: What is Ischemia? Is there any treatment for it?

Answer: Ischemia is the medical term for lack of oxygen to a target organ. This can be heart muscle (angina pectoris) or other organs like the brain or liver. Preventing the lack of oxygen is the treatment and varies with the organ. The most common is the heart and is due to blockage of the arteries.
