Question: Your explanation of Levbid tells what it does, but did not include side effects. Please provide them.

Answer: Side effects include dry mouth, blurred vision, urinary retention or hesitancy, tachycardia, increased ocular tension (to be avoided with any history of glaucoma), constipation, and hives.

Question: What are the side effects of Levbid, and what does it do?

Answer:Levbid and Levbid SR is the brand name for hyoscyamine hydrochloride. This drug is used to treat hypermotility, bladder spasm and excess acid production in peptic ulcer. It works by inhibiting the action of acetylcholine on neuro receptors. Consequently, it is effective in treating a wide range of disorders with excess GI motility, excess bladder spasm or tone etc.
