Acromegaly
Question: I am 68 on medicare and have numerous medical problem. My doctor wants to do a complete physical. He said medicare usually pays because a diagnosis is submitted with the claim. Is this normal procedure and how often is a physical required.

Answer: Depends on your diagnosis;but, in general he is correct. They will not pay for preventive medicine-they will pay for treatment on ongoing medical problems.
