General Information
Question: I have been advised that the jumpiness I experience is due to higher doses of narcotics taken for nerve damage due to chemo and currently Taxol. The dr. said this is common and there is no danger. I take MS Contin & MSIR. I want to read up and learn more about myoclonus. Where can I find information on this nerve disorder?

Answer: Myoclonus is not "jumpiness"; but, spontaneous muscle activity/spasm. Most basic neurology texts will describe this.
