Answer: Trimox is a broad spectrum antibiotic of the penicillin family. It is used to treat many infectious processes from urinary infections to respiratory infections. Occasionally, diverticulitis also.

Trimox/alcohol
Question: I have been prescribed Trimox antibiotics for a sore throat and ear infection. Will consuming alcohol while taking this medication have any effect on the potency of the drug? What effects, if any, will it produce?
