Warts & Grapefruit
Question: My wife has been on nadolol 20MG + premarin .625 daily for a long time without problems. Recently, for reasons too complex to go into here, macrobid once daily and progesterone initially 20 mg, later reduced to 5 mg daily were added. After about 3 weeks on these she has developed moderate xerostomia. Which med, if either, would you blame?

Answer: Off hand neither. However, macrobid would be my first bet. Try stopping it and see how she does. Are you sure that it is not another ongoing syndrome unrelated to the medications?
