Zovirax Taken During Pregnancy [posted 8/11/98]
Question: I am presently taking the oral medication zovirax, for cold sores on my mouth. I was wondering, if I am pregnant, how would this affect my baby? Should I discontinue use if I am pregnant?

Answer: No well controlled studies, but generally not recommended.
