Question: 1) Does brain tissue replace it's self when lost?
2) Why and how do you grow gray hairs?
3) If you have lung cancer what are the symptoms and how do you die from it?
Answer: 1) Generally, no.
2) It is not clear but, but it has to do with the aging process and possibly different
hormone levels.
3) There are about 50 different lung cancers. But, initially, most are present with a
lung infection, occasionally with a spread to an adjacent organ. The types of long term problems
vary with the lung cancer.
Supraclavicular Notch
Question: I recently watched the movie "the English Patient". On it they mentioned a part of the body...at the base of the neck, above the collar bone, an indention there. They mentioned the name, something like superlita notch?...I was wondering the real name..whether that is right or not...just curious
Answer: This is called the supraclavicular notch and is a landmark for placing central venous catheters as well as an anatomic variation.
