Frostbite [posted 8/14/98]
Question: What do you do if you get frostbite?

Answer: There are different levels of injury due to cold exposure. At low levels of "frostbite" re-warming is the best technique. Large areas and extended exposure require different treatments including checking core temperature, etc. Avoidance of further exposure to the damaged area is always recommended post exposure.
