Question: i took methotrexate for approximately 41/2 years. for dx of lupus. i’ve been off of it for 2years now and have developed what my rheumatologist is calling ganglian cysts. he thinks it may be related to the methotrexate use. why would they be showing up now 2years after i’ve stopped the medication?
thank you
Answer: These are pretty common without any medication and I know of no association with methotrexate use.
