What Is It?
Question: what is it about and what does it intail? Please write to me as soon as possible.

Answer: The human genome project is an ambitious project to map all the human chromosomes. This is somewhat akin to all the plans for the empire state huilding-46 times. It is currently being funded, organized and conducted by the National Institute of Health. Currently, there are about 16,000 gene locations. This map is available through the Internet at the National Library of Medicine at http://www.ncbl.nih.gov/SCIENCE96/
