Question: 1. How common is it that after you have been in remission you get more tumors that are not Hodgkins but with a pathology that says it will probably turn into Hodgkins?
2. Have you ever heard of anyone that once you have stopped chemotherapy and your hair comes back, you get hirshistism (spelling?) very bad? And if so what can you do about it?
3. What is the relapse rate?
4. How fast do these cancer lymphnodes grow?
thanks
Answer: The frequency of secondary tumors following Hodgkins depends on the patients age and treatment-so hard to say. It is increased, but not markedly so. Relapse is also very individual depending on the Stage and Type of Hodgkins as well as the patients age. As to the hirsuitism, never heard of this.

Question: What is the difference between Hodgkin’s and non-Hodgkin’s?
Answer: Classification differences in the lymphoma, based on
morphologic findings in the lymph nodes. There are several classification types, so
generalization is difficult.
