Question: I have a friend who has been dx. w/anxiety-depression. She was rx’d Zoloft & Xanax, and is on HR (the patch–not sure which). She is experiencing increased hot flashes (20qd or more) Doyou think its the hormone replacement, zoloft or xanax?
Answer: Usually insufficient hormone replacement. Zoloft of Xanax would not usually give hot flashes.
