Question: Is there treatment other than Steroids or local infiltration?
Answer: Japanese point massage is sometimes helpful. Acupuncture is also helpful, but the needles need to be done over the exact spot of the trigger point – not traditional acupuncture sites. Generalized massage therapy is also helpful.
