Question: can belladonna be taken as a pain pill? It does not help taken as perscribed,1 tablet before each meal I have prilosec capsules(long lasting) in the house . Which is best. I had colon resection in June 1999 and have been left with stomach aches, Scans etc. show nothing wrong.
Answer: Not usually effective for pain. It will decrease bowel motility.
