Question: I had a ear infection at about 6-7 weeks of my pregnancy. I was perscribed Cerumenex(triethanolamine Polypeptide oleate-condensate, 10%). This is a class C drug. Could I have caused damage to the baby? I used the drug for about a week and have received conflicting information from doctors.

Answer: Not likely, there is little absorption from this drug.
