Question: The dosage of dostinex I am on is .5 mg two times per week. Can this be increased since my prolactin number is increasing. It was 400 I was taking parlodel but to many side effect. I droped to 79 but is going up since I am on doxtinex at 119. thanks
Answer: It may be increased by .25 mg twice a week until a maximum dosage of 1 mg twice a week-depending on your prolactin level. Dose increases should be done about every 4-6 weeks to give enough time to check the prolactin level.
