Question: I have been on birth control pills for 1.5 years. I started on Triphasil but then switched to OrthoNovum777 because I was having lots of naseau and weight gain. I still have mild naseau and weight gain but I have also noticed that since I switched pills I have been extremely lethargic, depressed, and I am a newlywed yet I have absolutley no sexual desire. Is this common with 777 and would switching pills again help? If so what would you recommend?

Answer: Any of the birth control pills can reduce sexual drive depending on how your body metabolizes the estrogen and progesterone. Also, sometimes depending on the relative ratio of the two. Usually, we need to try different levels/ratios to eliminate the sexual drive problem.
