Answer: Stimate(desmopressin acetate)is a synthetic variation of antidiuretic hormone. It was found to have the ability to increase Factor VIII levels-consequently useful in Von Willebrands and Hemophilia A. Usual side effects include nausea, abdominal pain, vulvul pain and occasional flushing.
