Question: I have recently been diagnosed with kidney stones. I was given Tylenol with Codeine but it hasn’t had any pain relief for me. In 1995 I had kidney stones and the pain was reduced with the use of tylox prior to my lithotripsy(sp). Would it be safe to take tylox while breastfeeding or should I just bear through it?

Answer: Safe for you, there wil be narcotics transmitted to your child. You can pump and discard while you are taking the narcotic and resume post narcotics.
