Question: I am looking for information regarding the use of Nutrivene-D in Down syndrome patients. I have a pediatrician in my building who is interested in learning more about this drug/vitamin and its use in Down syndrome. I have searched Medline and the web and have not been able to find any information, just many questions.

Answer: Research in this area has been done primarily by a physician in Virginia, Dr Lawrence Leichtman of Richmond. This treatment has not been subjected to blinded scientific research; but, he may be able to help you.
