Question: my swelling with the idiopathic edema was maintained and kept at a minimum the last couple of years, but is now starting to get out of control again……is there any different medications that could be used for this condition?

Answer: what are you using now? Diuretics are usually the drug of choice, thiazide diuretics first then loop diuretics like lasix.
