Question: I take the MAO inhibitor Nardil. I am very familiar with the foods that I cannot eat. However, I think I read a list of “banned foods” once that included the artificial sweetener Aspartame. Now I cannot find a list that includes Aspartame. Is it safe to drink diet drinks containing Aspartame while on a MAO inhibitor such as Nardil?
Answer: Not a problem as far as I know.
